Karan Stewart

Children’s Minister

Karan has been part of Park Hill Baptist Church since 1993, faithfully serving in many areas including the kitchen, discipleship, children’s ministry, and gym before stepping into her current role as part-time receptionist. A business major, she also taught an adult women’s Sunday School class for more than 30 years and often jokes that any woman who has raised a family could run a small country. 

Karan is passionate about helping people see that God is personal and cares for them individually. She considers her greatest calling to be mother and grandmother, cherishing her 3 children and 7 grandchildren. 

Married to Howard for 55 years, she reflects with joy on raising and homeschooling their children, watching them graduate, and now continuing to influence the next generation to follow Christ.
